Here are the few guidelines:
- Start walking. Exercise 2 or 3 times a day. May be for 5 minutes or so. Avoid doing much at the start. Start from something very little and then gradually increase.
- Drink plenty of water. As much as you could.
- Avoid a lot of weight loss activity to reduce stress on joints
- 'Wear form-fitting clothes, especially on your legs. This is probably not the kind of fashion advice you are used to, but tighter, synthetic clothing wicks away sweat and reduces chafing of the skin. After your workout, use an antibacterial soap and be sure to leave no body part damp.'
- Stretch: Use proper stretching before and after work-outs in order to prevent the chance of injury.
- Buy some new shoes. And make sure you buy shoes of larger size than normal as feet swell during exercise.
- Stop the activity and consult you physicist if you:
- Have pain or pressure in your chest
- Feel temperature,sickness or dizzy
- Cold sweat or muscle cramps
